It's only September 23rd, and the Merlot harvest has arrived in a flash this year! Despite one of the coolest summers in California's history, the grapes ripened swiftly, and we joyfully completed the harvest by hand during the cool, serene nights last week. We're buzzing with excitement as we wait for the Cabernet to reach a perfect 26 brix. The current readings are just at 23, so we have a little more time to let those grapes hang and continue developing their incredible flavor. We're thrilled to have triumphed over the birds and pigs this year. The past couple of years have been a battle to save the Merlot!

It's Wine Club season, and we couldn't be more thrilled! "Dave's Picks" for wine this Fall have landed in your inbox, featuring our spectacular 2020 Estate Cabernet and Red Wine Blends, along with the exquisite 2019 Estate Coalesce. You have the exciting opportunity to fully customize these allocations, but remember, the deadline is September 26th!
