An Unforgettable Evening of Wine in Miami!
We had the incredible opportunity to indulge in not just one, but two exhilarating wine tastings in the vibrant city of Miami, FL! The excitement kicked off when our esteemed wine club member and friend, Hugo Castro, graciously invited ten fellow enthusiasts for an unforgettable dinner. Together, we delved into the exquisite world of KFV library wines while savoring each sip and discussing the artistry behind our winemaking process.
A Journey Through Exceptional Wines
Our tasting adventure began with the delightful Rosé, a refreshing start that set the tone for the evening. Next, we explored the rich complexities of the 2019 Red Wine Blend, followed by the captivating 2018 Merlot (a rare gem since the 2019 vintage is already sold out!). The evening continued with the bold flavors of the 2019 Cabernet and the harmonious 2019 Coalesce.
Engaging Conversations and Insights
What made this gathering truly special was the camaraderie and shared passion for wine among the group. With everyone already well-versed in the nuances of viticulture, our discussions flowed as freely as the wine. We dove deep into the fascinating decisions made during the farming process and how each choice influences the aromas, flavors, and mouthfeel of the wines we cherish. It was a night filled with laughter, learning, and, of course, fantastic wines!

Miami Night Two!
The second night we were treated to an amazing seafood paella cooked by Hugo and his good buddy Francisco. Over twenty four guests were invited and we greeted each with our signature cocktail, the Sangrita. The seafood paella had shrimp, octopus, mussels, lobster, fish and paired perfectly with our Albariño, Rosé and Red Wine Blend. As we moved on In the night we enjoyed our 2018 Merlot, the 2019 Cabernet and of course our flagship 2019 Coalesce.

The Discussion
The group consisted of both newer wine drinkers and seasoned officianados. It made for a lively discussion about wine and the infuence food has on flavor and mouth feel. The discussion went late into the night but the warm hospitality and sharing of stories is what we will cherish the most.
Cheers to more evenings like this, where we can celebrate the art of winemaking and the joy of good company!
