It was a pleasure to showcase KFV Wines in the charming setting of San Juan Capistrano, CA. The exquisite home of the Wilmot family provided the perfect backdrop for an engaging wine tasting experience. After winning the KFV Wine Tasting at a charity auction to support You Run This Town OC, the Wilmots, accompanied by 18 of their closest friends, embarked on an unforgettable evening of sampling our latest releases.

KFV Sangrita

The evening started with our signature cocktail the Sangrita. It is a refreshing drink perfect for Spring. Here Is the recipe:

Sangrita Recipe

Serves 6-8 people

• 1 bottle of KFV Rosé

• 1 Cup of Tequila (blue agave pref.)

• 1 Cup fresh squeezed lime juice

• 1/4-1/2 Cup agave

• Cut fruit like watermelon, berries, mango, honeydew

• Seltzer to top

• Fresh Basil as garnish

• Ice

Combine first five ingredients in a large glass pitcher and stir. Pour into cup filled with ice, top with seltzer and garnish with basil. Enjoy!

Beautiful charcuterie platter

The hosts truly outdid themselves by preparing all the food in-house, and it was absolutely fabulous! Jan's charcuterie board was nothing short of spectacular—definitely a highlight of the evening! We paired it perfectly with the delightful 2022 Albariño and the refreshing 2022 Rosé, creating an unforgettable culinary experience.

Event Highlights: A Memorable Evening of Wine and Charity

We were thrilled to showcase our exquisite 2020 Estate Red Wine Blend and 2018 Estate Merlot, perfectly paired with succulent lamb lollipops. (Please note, images not displayed)

Next on the menu were mouthwatering filet sliders, which were an absolute delight! They complemented our 2020 Estate Cabernet and 2019 Estate Coalesce beautifully, creating a harmonious dining experience. Everyone enjoyed the evening, all while supporting a great cause. We take immense pride in contributing to charities that resonate with our wine club members.
