2021Harvest and Update!

As we reflect on the past year, we feel incredibly thankful to everyone for your support. It is hard to believe that we are already wrapping up the 2021 growing season at KFV. It has been a very warm year with very little rain and because of this we ended up harvesting early this year on Sept 26th. We are especially excited about this harvest as the fruit we saw coming in was beautiful! We are full of anticipation as we wait for fermentation to finish so we can tuck in our fifth commercial vintage and wait!

In December of 2020, we completed our bungalow, the "Shack", and it is ready for you to come visit! You can take a look here.

There is a lot going on with the winery too! In June we bottled the 2019 Cabernet, Merlot and Red Wine Blend, as well as our first collaboration: 2019 Coalesce. It is a blend of our estate Cabernet and Merlot fruit with Petite Verdot from our friends at Four Lanterns. It is super sophisticated and is only available to one of our three wine shipping clubs, the Fan, Friends or Family. You can learn more about them here,

In August we harvested two tons of Albariño grapes from our friends at Barr Creekside Vineyard. This will be our first white wine offering we are very pleased with how it is coming along! This will likely be available for the April wine club shipment.

Speaking of wine clubs, we have a new addition-the Fan Club. It is our smallest shipment committment. All of our clubs are free to join and ship twice per year. Each allocation you will get "Dave's picks" that are fully customizable. Consider giving a gift of a wine club allocation. It is easy to do from our website. For more information click here.

We feel incredibly thankful to be able to do what we have always dreamed of doing and hope that 2022 will allow us to see more of you in person and at the vineyard! Keep your eyes open for an event at the vineyard in 2022!
